Abstract
Brainstem auditory evoked potential (BAEP) study has been used for evaluation of maturity of brain or diagnosis of the lesion in the brainstem or auditory pathway, especially for the infants and the patients with disturbed mental study. The
purpose
of
this study is to get the normal values of the wave I, II, III, IV and V in each gestational age from 35 to 42 weeks and in each stimulation intensity 30, 60 and 90 dB. We also studied about the factors affecting to the peak latencies interpeak
latencies(IPL), and amplitudes of the each waves.
@ES The results were as follows:
@EN 1. As the stimulation intensity increased, the peak latencies of wave I and V decreased and the amplitudes of all waves are increased but there was no changes in interpeak latencies(IPL).
